Hello.

Recently I contracted dysentery, which was scary and horrifying at the same time. But, unlike the majority of my characters in The Oregon Trail, it did not kill me.

Life is going well. I've bad many visits from college friends which have all been a blast. Sheila and Joe were actually here for alumni weekend about a month ago and I haven't had that much fun in a long, long time. I want them to come back :( Better yet...I would like to be able to go visit my friends too! It's so hard though...with my work schedule and its about to get much harder when Stivers starts back up on August 11th. I cannot believe how fast the summer is going. I would ideally like to visit Joe, Katy, Steph, Melissa, and Sheila all before I end up leaving Dayton and going to grad school.

Which reminds me...I am beginning the process of applying for grad school, its still a little early, but at least I've researched a bunch of colleges and I know which one I'd like to go to the best...That would be Bard in New York (not the city, just outside it :) ) Tyler and Columbia are tied for second and then there's a slew of other colleges that are up for applications...
SVA, Parsons, ICP, Glasglow, New Mexico

Decisions, decisions. And we all kn ow how little I like those.

I've taken in a new cat...Orson, who is actually Kate's cat and will not be staying with us past August. I think I'll miss him. Tress likes to annoy him and always gets his ass beaten.

My mom got a Wii for her birthday and yesterday all Jason, the kids, and I did was play it. It's a lot of fun...Juliana and I made Miis of all the Harry Potter characters and then we made look-a-likes of ourselves because Jason was having a fit about us not playing Miis that actually look like us. My arm is sore from playing it...really sore. It's really funny. I think I'll eventually invest in a Wii and WiiFit to work out. Which I need to do more of since my gym is still taking out $21 a month and I haven't gone in two months practically. I need to motivate myself. Maybe I'll go tomorrow.

The Dark Knight was fantastic. I love it. I love the joker. I am more sad that Heath Ledger is dead now. I liked how they foreshadowed Catwoman though and I can't wait for the next one :) And Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

There is a strange bug in my house right now...it's actually kind of frightening so I think I'm going to leave this place that it's currently occupying and go downstairs to finish The Confessions of Mr. Tivoli and then maybe watch some Lord of the Rings...if I make it. I go to bed very early these days.
